10:10 AM — Secret Surveillance Screw-ups
The FBI is allowed to wiretap your phone without you ever knowing, provided they get permission from a secret court. They can follow your library and grocery records, and they can read all your emails and count your fileshared mp3's. But to protect the innocent majority of us, there's that secret court looking out for you - even though there's no "defense" representing you either appointed by you (since you don't know) or appointed by the court. It's just a panel of secret judges who decided based solely upon the FBI's "prosecution." Oh, and they're allowed to and sometimes do fuck up and
monitor random other people. But we don't know how often that happens -- it's a
secret.
