According to the Massachusetts Teachers Association, Massachusetts ranks #49 in per capita funding of public higher education. Keep your eyes peeled for a TV ad campaign touting this, as well as T-shirts with a big "49" on the back.

Depending upon who you ask, we're either #47 (MSCA) or #49 (MTA)

At our graduation speech, the faculty representative said that we're #1 in cutting funding to public higher education. I wonder where she got that statistic from. ¶ permalink | 0 musings
