7:40 PM — H2G2
If you're out of the loop, H2G2 is geek-speak for HHGttG, which is itself short for Douglas Adam's cult favorite
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which has taken form in a
BBC radio series, a
five-book-and-one-short-story trilogy, a
TV mini-series, and a
movie.
And man, I have
GOT to buy me the original
BBC Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (in CD form). These are going into my iPod and will make the trip to CTY in July seem too short. I really am starting to like audiobooks. The three-CD set of the original series is GBP 32.97 (roughly USD 55--I'm practicing my mental conversions), with "books" 4 and 5 coming out for the first time this summer. Each CD is 2-3 hours in length.
Hm, presuming I do get them, I better not let the CTY kids know I have them, or I will never be able to shake them off me.
